Re: js550 won't start? has, spark, fuel, compression If you have consistent spark, fuel, and compression, then about the only things left are timing, air, fast enough cranking, and consistent spark with the plugs in. If you aren't getting any signs of it igniting (burnt fuel out the exhaust, backfire, etc.), then definitely focus on the spark.
Long story short - 90' JS550 with a milled head. Great compression (~150 in both). The ski has been sitting for 2 years in a garage since the last start up.
